Our Service Explained

We provide an inspection of the dwelling on a property that will be involved in a real estate transaction. This type of home inspection is an unbiased independent examination of the physical structure and systems of a home conducted by our licensed professional real estate inspector. After the inspection, the client will have a complete and thorough written report about the inspector's observations and tests performed during the inspection to give a clear view of the condition of the home. Over 150 components of the structural, mechanical, and electrical systems of the home are inspected. For more information, see our services or home inspection details.

Other Types of Home Related Inspections

We realize that there are several inspections that the homeowner could be looking for and this process is confusing. You could be looking for a termite inspection, mold inspection, new addition inspection, roofing inspection, or a building code inspection to name a few. Most inspectors are only licensed for a particular type of inspection and cannot perform multiple types of inspections. For more help with this, please click here and read.

A real estate inspection (more commonly known as a home inspection) is regulated and defined by the Texas Real Estate Commission, and is performed by a licensed real estate inspector. Any other type of inspection is regulated by other agencies and performed by other licensed professionals.

Why Get a Home Inspection?

Buying or selling a home is a stress filled experience. It just makes sense to get a inspection of the home by a qualified real estate inspector that will give you a clear picture of the condition of the home. A home is the greatest single investment you will make in your lifetime. Why take an unnecessary risk with unknown conditions on the home? Go to the negotiation table with documented defects as listed in the home inspection report. A home inspection puts your mind at ease before you complete your real estate transaction.

And if you're selling, find out about problems before listing the home, so you can make repairs and the home shows better to prospective buyers.

Real Estate Inspectors Explained

A professional Real Estate Inspector is licensed by the state of Texas through the Texas Real Estate Commission. The inspector is much like your family doctor, he is a generalist. You go to your doctor so he will identify your symptoms, then refer you to the appropriate specialist. The inspector will identify the conditions or symptoms of defects of the home, then explain them to you so you can get a specialist to take care of the problem. Our real estate inspector has been professionally trained, has passed the prerequisite test for a state license, and is required to have continuing education each year as required by the state of Texas.

What to Expect from a Home Inspection

A home inspection will usually take a minimum of three hours on an average size home. You can be assured of a focused high quality inspection with a complete report. For more details, you can review our frequently asked questions. You are welcome to be present during the inspection and our inspector will take the time needed to answer your questions. You can learn about our inspector on the our inspector page. We pledge to accommodate your needs as a client and give you information you can use to make intelligent decisions.
